Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, known as Luis Miguel, is a Mexican singer and producer. Born in Puerto Rico, he is the son of an Italian mother and a Spanish father. During his childhood, he emigrated with his family to Mexico, the country where he later acquired citizenship in 1991. Recognized for his vocal style, stage presence and musical versatility, he is one of the most successful artists in Latin America.
