The song *Lupe* has a duration of just over three minutes, enough time to immerse yourself in its atmosphere. It was recorded at Estudios Kirios in Madrid, a place that has seen many renowned Spanish music artists pass through, such as Mocedades, Lolita, or Camilo Sesto. This album, *Decídete*, was a project that was gestated between July and September 1983, with the particularity that the production was handled by his father, Luisito Rey, and Honorio Herrero, who also contributed to the controversial song that gives the album its name.
The album *Decídete* featured ten tracks, and the Spanish lyricist Luis Gómez-Escolar participated in the composition of some of them. Luis Miguel, who was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1970, already demonstrated impressive musical versatility at this stage of his career, exploring genres ranging from pop and funk to bolero and romantic ballads. His career, marked by successes and accolades, includes winning five Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards, making him one of the most distinguished Latin artists by the American academy.
