The story behind
Luis Miguel recorded Decídete at the Estudios Kirios in Madrid between July and September 1983. It was the artist's third studio album, produced by his father Luisito Rey and Honorio Herrero. The first single, also called Decídete, was released in October of that year and was launched in several countries. The original lyrics, which spoke about a sexual encounter between teenagers, caused controversy due to the singer's age, which was only 13 years old.
