It was part of the soundtrack of a Mexican film of the same name, released in 1985 under the EMI Capitol label. Most of the pieces on this album are performed by Luis Miguel, although there are also contributions from Lucerito, who was his partner in the film. Interestingly, this soundtrack was also recorded in Italian. Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1970, is a prominent figure in Latin American music. Throughout his career, he has explored various genres, from pop and funk to boleros and romantic ballads, demonstrating remarkable versatility.
His career includes accolades such as five Grammy awards and four Latin Grammy awards. He is known for being one of the youngest Latin artists to receive an award from the American recording academy, at fifteen years old, for a duet with singer Sheena Easton.
