The story behind
Los muchachos de hoy (italiano), according to DoReSol
The song Los muchachos de hoy (Italian), with its duration of 3 minutes and 37 seconds, is taken from the album Fiebre de amor, a work that accompanied the Mexican film of the same name. This album, released in 1985 under the EMI Capitol label, features Luis Miguel as the main performer on most of the tracks, although it also includes the participation of Lucerito on some interventions. An interesting detail of this production is that a large part of its content was also recorded in Italian.
Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1970, is a prominent figure in Latin American music. His versatility has led him to explore various genres, from pop and funk to bolero, mariachi, and romantic ballads. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with multiple awards, including five Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards. His talent was evident from a very young age, receiving an award at fifteen for a duet with Scottish singer Sheena Easton.
