Nosotros

The melody of Nosotros, composed by Pedro Junco, immerses us in an intimate and nostalgic atmosphere, characteristic of romantic ballads. Although the registered canonical title is Nosotros dos and its duration is 3 minutes and 14 seconds, the interpretation we know and that resonates in the voice of Luis Miguel captures a particular emotion. This piece is included in the album Directo al corazón, released in 1982 by EMI Capitol Mexico.

This album, the singer's second studio album, was produced by his father, Luisito Rey. It is interesting to note that some later editions, especially in CD format, presented variations. In certain re-releases, the album title was changed to Un sol directo al corazón, and the cover art also underwent a change, moving from a childlike image to a more youthful one. For the USA market, under the Odeon label, the record was published as Un sol, although the musical content and the order of the songs remained faithful to the Mexican version. Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1970, has traversed various musical genres throughout his career, demonstrating a versatility that has positioned him as a prominent figure in Latin American music.
