A clear turning point in his career came around 1997 with the release of Más. This work, which included songs like Corazón partío, became a sales phenomenon in Spain and significantly expanded his reach, helping to establish him as a recognized figure throughout Latin America and the United States. This massive success did not stop him; in fact, it allowed him to take a decisive step into the American market with El alma al aire (2000), showcasing an artistic maturity he would continue to explore in later productions.
