The 3 album by Alejandro Sanz, released in 1995, marked an important point in his career, consolidating his popularity beyond Spain. Recorded between February and March of that year at Condulmer Recording Studios, near Venice, Italy, this work delves into the sound of Latin pop. What's interesting is that Sanz explored versions in Portuguese and Italian, expanding the reach of his music. Most of the compositions bear his signature, with the notable exception of Quiero Morir en Tu Veneno.

About the album

3, according to DoReSol

From this album, several songs particularly resonated with the public. La Fuerza del Corazón, Mi Soledad y Yo, and ¿Lo Ves? were released as lead singles, and music videos were produced for each. Another standout piece is Quiero Morir en Tu Veneno, which is distinguished by not being entirely written by the artist. The production of this album was handled by Miguel Ángel Arenas and Emanuele Ruffinengo, who helped shape this collection of songs.

This album, released by WEA Latina, not only reaffirmed the success of his previous works but also strongly projected him into Europe and Latin America. In 2006, a reissue was released that included both the CD with its 14 songs and a DVD with 8 music videos, offering a more complete look at this stage of his career.
