The song *Campeón* by Luis Miguel, with a duration of 3:09, is part of the album *Decídete*, released in November 1983. This work was produced by his father, Luisito Rey, alongside Honorio Herrero, who is also the author of the album's main theme. The recording of this album took place at Estudios Kirios, located in Madrid, Spain, during the months of July and September of that same year. Previously, artists of the caliber of Mocedades, Lolita, Luis Eduardo Aute, Camilo Sesto, Miguel Bosse, Julio Iglesias, and Joan Manuel Serrat, among others, had passed through these studios. The original album contained ten tracks, some of them written by Honorio Herrero and the Spanish lyricist Luis Gómez.
Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on April 19, 1970, is a prominent figure in Latin American music. Throughout his career, he has explored various genres, from pop and funk to bolero and mariachi. His career includes winning five Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards. He is recognized by the American Recording Academy, being one of the youngest Latin artists to receive an award at the age of fifteen, for a duet with Scottish singer Sheena Easton. It is estimated that he has sold over 100 million records.
