About the album
20 Años, according to DoReSol
The album's reception was so positive that in 1991 it received a nomination for Best Latin Pop Performance at the Grammys, further solidifying the success Luis Miguel had achieved with his previous work, Busca Una Mujer. In Mexico, 20 Años broke sales records, reaching 600,000 copies in a single weekend. One of the most memorable songs, "Será que no me amas", became famous not only for its melody but also for its official choreography, which remains popular in the region.
To promote the album, Luis Miguel launched his 20 Años Tour on July 12, 1990, in Mexico City, where he performed several concerts at the Centro de Espectáculos Premier. These shows were recorded and later released on a VHS video titled Luis Miguel: 20 Años. Most of the album's songs were written by Juan Carlos Calderón, who managed to capture the essence of the artist and his connection with the audience. Undoubtedly, 20 Años is a testament to the talent of Luis Miguel and his evolution in the world of music.
