This track is part of Luis Miguel's ninth studio album, titled Aries, released in 1993. Following the great commercial impact of Romance in 1991, Luis Miguel once again explored sounds reminiscent of his earlier works, combining pop ballads with touches of jazz and dance rhythms, and incorporating R&B influences. For the production of Aries, the singer himself was involved, with the collaboration of Kiko Cibrián, Rudy Pérez, David Foster, and Juan Luis Guerra. Eight singles were released from this album, including Ayer and Hasta que me olvides, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, and Suave, which reached ninth place. Other promoted tracks were Me niego a estar solo, Dame tu amor, and Qué ni. Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1970, is a prominent figure in Hispanic American music. His career spans a wide range of genres, from pop and funk to bolero, mariachi, and romantic ballads. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with multiple awards, including five Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards. One of his early achievements was receiving an award at fifteen years old for a duet with Sheena Easton.
