The story behind
Siempre me quedo, siempre me voy, according to DoReSol
In the song I always stay, I always leave, the music bears the signature of Luisito Rey, who gave life to the melody. This piece is part of the soundtrack of the Mexican film Fever of Love, an album that saw the light in 1985 under the EMI Capitol label. Most of the songs are performed by Luis Miguel, although some performances by Lucerito, who shared the screen with him in the film, can also be heard. Curiously, this soundtrack was also recorded in Italian. Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1970, is a prominent figure in Latin American music.
Throughout his career, he has explored various genres, from pop and funk to bolero and mariachi. His career includes accolades such as five Grammy awards and four Latin Grammy awards. It was at the age of fifteen that he received his first award, a duet with singer Sheena Easton.
