Of the songs that make up this Novela, some have been identified in official releases. For example, "As de Poker" would reappear in 1994 under the name Circo Beat, included in the album of the same title. Another piece, the one that gives the album its name, Novela, was recorded by Fabiana Cantilo in 1995 for her work Sol en Cinco, with the title "Nada es para siempre". Even "Las brujitas" had a version for a children's album called Piojos y piojitos, released in 1991, where it was titled "Ay bruja bruja brujita".
