The story behind

Fito Páez recorded a song called Cuando el Circo Llega al Pueblo that lasts little more than three minutes. He put it on a disc called Novela, which is not official, and it was released in 1988. That album was sort of a test, a project that didn't end up being completed. Fito was working on a soundtrack for a short film that didn't get made due to lack of money. That disc has 14 songs, some of which later became official. Two of them, like Cuando el Circo Llega al Pueblo, were released under other names in other discs. The music is still played, although not always with the same title. On Last.fm people listen to it little, but it's still on the list.
