Make Yourself

Incubus released Make Yourself in October 1999, in a Los Angeles studio. The album came out during a time when the band already had some fame, but was looking for something more. The production sounded more refined, with a touch of maturity that couldn't go unnoticed. Songs like Drive and Pardon Me stood out, reaching high positions on the charts. It was the first album on which they worked with DJ Kilmore, who replaced DJ Lyfe. The sound mixed alternative metal, nu metal and alternative rock, with some touches of funk rock. The total duration of the album was almost 48 minutes, and it was released by Epic Records and Immortal Records. It was certified in the United States as a platinum album.
