Incubus, formed in 1991 in Calabasas, California, fused influences from funk, alternative rock, and more ethereal elements from their beginnings. The addition of Chris Kilmore brought new electronic textures to the band's sound. The mixing of this record was handled by Scott Litt and Rick Will, with production shared between Incubus and Scott Litt.
