Lei, gli amici e tutto il resto

Nek's Lei, gli amici e tutto il resto, released in 1996, marked a turning point in his career. This album, the fourth in his discography, signified his debut with Warner Music Italy and became his first work to also be recorded for the Spanish-speaking market. The production was authored by Antonello De Sanctis, while the musical composition was handled by Nek alongside Massimo Varini, who also took charge of the arrangements and artistic production with David Sabiu. The artist himself described this period as "the album of my second life," highlighting creative freedom, a renewed team, and the collaboration of musicians with whom he would share several years. In the studio, they opted for a live recording, capturing bass, drums, and guitar simultaneously, and then adding keyboards and vocals.
