The story behind
Andare, partire, tornare, according to DoReSol
When Filippo Neviani, artistically known as Nek, was preparing to release his fourth studio album, Lei, gli amici e tutto il resto, in 1996, he felt it was the beginning of a new phase in his career. This record marked a significant change, moving to a larger record label and being the first to have a version intended for the Spanish-speaking market. For the songwriting, Nek collaborated with Massimo Varini, who also handled the arrangements and production along with David Sabiu. The song Andare, partire, tornare, with a duration of 3 minutes and 44 seconds, is part of this project that Nek described as "the album of my second life".
Nek's beginnings date back to the late 1980s, when he was part of a group called White Lady. His first solo work was released in 1992, simply titled Nek, from which the single Amami was released. His participation in the San Remo Festival occurred in 1993, presenting In te, a song that addressed the theme of abortion, inspired by a personal experience. In that same edition, Mietta performed Figli di chi, a composition also by him. A year later, Nek participated in the Cantagiro, receiving recognition as the most popular artist awarded by TV Stelle magazine. In 1994, he received an award for best young Italian singer, shared with Giorgia Trovato, and released the album Calore Umano, his last work with the Fonit Cetra record label.
