All Things Must Pass

George Harrison released All Things Must Pass in November 1970, shortly after The Beatles broke up. It was his first solo album, without the band. The sound was different, bigger, more free. There was a lot of guitar, a lot of vocals, and an energy that had never been heard before.

About the album

All Things Must Pass, according to DoReSol

He recorded in London, at Abbey Road studios, with Phil Spector as producer. Although it was his project, he didn't do it alone. Musicians he already knew accompanied him: Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Delaney & Bonnie, and others. He also included an improvised part, a Apple Jam, which was like an extra bonus. It was the first album released on a three-disc vinyl, something that no one had done before.

The album received good reviews, although it wasn't everything people expected. Although it wasn't an immediate success, over time it became something that was often listened to. The songs were deep, with lyrics that spoke about love, life, and things that happen. The music was rich, with a touch of folk and rock that made it unique.
