Among the standout songs on this work, we find Alone, which became a worldwide hit and reached number 5 in the UK. I Could Not Love You More and Still Waters (Run Deep) also managed to chart in the British top 20, showcasing the strength of the album's compositions. The band had been working on other projects, such as an acoustic cover album called Love Songs, which was ultimately rejected by their record company. They even recorded material for the soundtrack of a new version of Miracle on 34th Street, including the song Miracles Happen, although it was not used in the end.
