p·u·l·s·e

Pink Floyd released p·u·l·s·e in 1995. It was an album that collected old songs, some of which they had known before. The idea was to gather them and make something that sounded natural, without forcing. It wasn't a new album, but a collection of what the band had already done.

About the album

p·u·l·s·e, according to DoReSol

The music of p·u·l·s·e has that characteristic sound of Pink Floyd, with instruments that intertwine and voices that come and go. There are moments where the guitar gets loud, others where the piano stands out. The song Shine On You Crazy Diamond is one of the most recognized, with a rhythm that remains constant, but at the same time gives the feeling that something is about to happen.

Some of the songs were in their original order, others were rearranged. What's important is that the album didn't feel like a compilation, but rather something that could be listened to from start to finish. The band wanted it to sound like a complete album, not just a bunch of old songs put together.
