About the album

Paris milonga, according to DoReSol

The album includes songs such as *Via con me*, which became one of his most famous. In it, Conte includes a saxophone solo that replaced the original vibraphone. Another standout song is *Alle prese con una verde milonga*, which gives the album its title and mentions the Argentine Atahualpa Yupanqui. There is also *Boogie*, which later was interpreted by Ivano Fossati, and *Pretend*, written in English and sung by two choristers.

The sound is well defined, with a band of musicians that includes Jimmy Villotti and Bruno Astesana. The sound technician was Antonio Rampotti on most of the songs, except for *Via con me* and *Pretend*, where it was done by Danilo Girardi and Danilo Pennone. All the songs are by Conte, with arrangements and direction by Pino Calì. The album cover shows a model with short hair and sunglasses, an image that repeats on the front and back, in black and white and in color.
