The story behind

When Paolo Conte presented Paris milonga on May 31, 1981, this album, released by RCA Italiana, brought jazz and swing to a point of maturity, fusing them with south American music. Here you find Alle prese con una verde milonga, a 5:12 song. For this album, Conte resumed his collaboration with Lilli Greco in production, after having worked with Nanni Ricordi on the 1979 album, Un gelato al limon. The recording sessions were split: while Via con me and Pretend were recorded in the Format studio in Turin, where Happy Ruggiero also played the eminent, the other tracks, including our song, were recorded in the RCA studios in Rome.
