L’ultima donna

The story behind

Paolo Conte recorded L’ultima donna in 1981, within the album Paris milonga. The song was recorded at the Format studio in Turin, where he also recorded Via con me and Pretend. There he worked with Lilli Greco, who had produced his first albums. In that album, Conte got closer to jazz and swing, blending them with South American rhythms. The song lasts three minutes and forty-three seconds, and on Last.fm it has little more than ten listeners.
