Labour of Love III

In 1998, UB40 released Labour of Love III, an album that continued to explore the reggae sound that characterized them. This work, which came after successes like 1983's Labour of Love, added to an already consolidated discography. The band, formed in Birmingham, England, in December 1978, had achieved considerable recognition both in their country and internationally, with over 50 singles on the UK charts and sales exceeding 100 million records. The diversity in the origins of its original members, with English, Welsh, Irish, Jamaican, Scottish, and Yemeni ancestry, was reflected in their musical proposal.
