El impulso

La Vela Puerca released El impulso in April 2007. It was an album recorded between November and December of the previous year, in three different studios. In Buenos Aires, at Panda Studios, and also at IFU in Montevideo. Finally, at Casa Blanca, in Atlántida. The mixing was done in February 2007, in the United States, with the engineer Tom Baker. The album was completed in Los Angeles, and it was produced by Juan Campodónico.

About the album

El impulso, according to DoReSol

The band recorded thirteen songs, among them Frágil, which was released as a single in early March 2007. Then came El “señor”, with its video, in 2008. The sound remains the same: rock and ska, with that energy that defines them. The album was released under the label Universal Music, and became part of their discography.
