Olivia Dean

Olivia Dean is a British singer-songwriter who has captured public attention with her distinctive sound, blending elements of soul and pop with introspective lyrics. Her career took off when she uploaded demos to SoundCloud in 2018, leading to a deal with AMF Records. With her debut EP, OK Love You Bye, released in November of the same year, she presented a raw, vintage style reminiscent of artists like Amy Winehouse and Adele, while her lyrics reflected a deep connection with human emotions.

A pivotal moment in her career was the release of her single "Reason to Stay," which went viral and led her to sign with Virgin EMI Records in 2019. Her first album, Messy, was released in 2023 to critical acclaim, earning her a Mercury Prize nomination. In 2025, Dean reached a new level of recognition with her second album, The Art of Loving, which topped the UK albums chart and included the hit single "Man I Need." This achievement made her the first solo female artist to have four UK top ten singles simultaneously.
