One of the most discussed songs is Prisioneiro, where bassist Maurício Defendi takes on the role of lead vocalist. The lyrics narrate the story of a corrupt politician who benefits from corruption and trafficking. Due to its content, this song was banned by Federal Censorship, specifically the Division of Censorship of Public Entertainment (DCDP), and could not be broadcast on the radio at the time. The album also marks the incorporation of Sérgio Serra into the band, replacing Carlo Bartolini, known as Carlinhos, who left the group during the recording process. Some of the guitar parts were recorded by producer Liminha.
In Eu Gosto de Mulher, an instrumental reference to Aram Khatchaturian's orchestral piece Dança do Sabre can be heard, specifically between minutes 1:45 and 2:16. All compositions on the album are the work of Roger Moreira, unless otherwise stated. The overall production of the album was handled by Liminha.
