Diego Torres

Diego Torres, born in Buenos Aires in 1971, is an artist who has seamlessly transitioned between acting and music, leaving a mark on Latin pop. His connection to the arts comes from birth, as he is the son of the renowned singer and actress Lolita Torres. From a young age, the musical and artistic environment surrounded him, influencing his path. His first steps in music were with a band called La Marca, but his career took a different turn when he began his acting career on television in 1989.

The 1990s were a period of consolidation for Diego Torres. After the dissolution of La Marca in 1991, he launched his solo career. That same year, he starred in the successful youth sitcom La banda del Golden Rocket, which ran until 1993 and even had a theatrical season. In parallel, in 1992, he released his debut self-titled album, Diego Torres, produced by Cachorro López. This album, which blended Latin pop, romantic ballads, and rock, was an important starting point, featuring songs like «Estamos juntos» and «Puedo decir que sí», and led him to embark on an extensive tour across Latin America.
