Al Bano & Romina Power

The sound of Al Bano and Romina Power was built on a foundation of catchy melodies and a romantic pop style that resonated in many corners of the world. Since their beginnings, this Italian duo, formed by Albano Carrisi and Romina Power, knew how to connect with the public through songs like Sharazan, Felicità and Ci sarà. Their music, often also recorded in Spanish, opened doors for them in markets such as Spain and Latin America, in addition to consolidating their presence in Europe. The first album they released together, Dialogo (Atto 1), appeared in 1975, marking the beginning of a discography that would explore various facets of pop.

A key moment in their career was their participation in the Sanremo Festival. In 1982, they reached second place with Felicità, a song that became an outright success, even managing to receive recognition in Germany for selling six million copies. But it was in 1984 when they reached the pinnacle of the festival, winning first prize thanks to Ci sarà. This achievement was added to their participations in the Sanremo Festival on other occasions, also obtaining third places with songs like Nostalgia canaglia and Cara terra mia.
