The story behind
Tu soltanto tu (Mi hai fatto innamorare), according to DoReSol
The song *Tu soltanto tu (Mi hai fatto innamorare)*, performed by Al Bano and Romina Power, is 3 minutes and 41 seconds long. It is part of the album *Felicità*, released in 1982. This album had different titles depending on the region: in Germany, Italy, and Hungary, it was known as *Aria Pura*, while in the Soviet Union it was titled *Al Bano E Romina Power*.
Al Bano and Romina Power formed an Italian romantic pop duo in 1975. Albano Carrisi, an Italian singer-songwriter, and Romina Francesca Power, an actress of American descent, built a musical career that transcended borders. Their best-known songs include *Diálogo* (also known as *Arena blanca, mar azul*), *Felicità*, *Ci sarà*, *Libertad*, *Siempre Siempre*, and *Sharazan*. The duo participated on multiple occasions in festivals such as Eurovision and Sanremo, winning the latter in 1984 with *Ci sarà*. At Eurovision, they represented Italy in 1976 with *We’ll Live It All Again* and in 1985 with *Magic, Oh Magic*. Most of their recordings were also released in Spanish, which allowed them to achieve great popularity not only in Italy, Germany, Austria, France, and Eastern Europe, but also in Spain and Latin America. Their last joint album was released in 1996, titled *Ancora… Zugabe*. After their split in 1999, the duo disbanded, though they resumed their musical collaboration in Russia in 2013 and announced a new album for 2019.
