Tão Sozinho

The story behind

Los Hermanos recorded Tão Sozinho in 2001, a year after their first album. The song is part of Bloco Do Eu Sozinho, an album that was born in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, far from the city. There they worked without distractions, trying to do something that wasn't just another hit. The bassist, Patrick Laplan, left during production, frustrated by the group's change in sound. He was replaced by Alexandre Kassin, producer and collaborator. Upon completion, the label Abril Music didn't want the album, but the band released it anyway. The song lasts one minute and nineteen seconds, and today it is still listened to by thousands on Last.fm.
