The story behind

Slowly, according to DoReSol

In Slowly time stretches like a long sigh. The song floats over a rhythmic base that seems to move without haste, yet with a precision that invites you to let go. There's something in that cadence that isn't accidental: the track is sustained by a prolonged measure, as if each note takes a breath before continuing. The voice of Luis Eduardo Aute glides between the words with a naturalness that makes the listener feel they're hearing a confidence rather than a song. The result is a piece that doesn't demand haste, but attention.

The album Slowly was recorded between July and August 1992 at Estudios Trak and La Nave in Madrid, under the production of Suso Saiz and released by BMG Ariola. The original vinyl included nine songs, while the CD version added two extra tracks: La locura que todo lo cura and Jaques, a tribute to the Belgian singer-songwriter Jacques Brel. With a duration of 5:29, Slowly was published that same year in Spain, closing an album where each track seems designed to be listened to without rush.
