The story behind
Prodigios, according to DoReSol
Upon immersing yourself in Prodigios, you encounter a piece that unfolds with a duration of 5 minutes and 34 seconds, an extent that allows the composition to breathe and develop its atmosphere. This work, written and conceived entirely by Luis Eduardo Aute, is part of his seventeenth discographic work, titled Slowly, which translates to Lentamente in Spanish. The production of this album was handled by Suso Saiz, and its release materialized under the BMG Ariola label.
The recording of Slowly took place in the city of Madrid, specifically at Estudios Trak and La Nave, during the months of July and August of 1992. The album was released that same year in Spain, initially on vinyl format with nine tracks. Subsequently, a compact disc edition expanded the listening experience by including two additional songs: La locura que todo lo cura and Jaques, the latter being a tribute to the Belgian singer-songwriter Jacques Brel. All the compositions on the album, including Prodigios, bear the signature of Luis Eduardo Aute.
