The story behind
Quién eres tú, according to DoReSol
In the song Quién eres tú, Luis Eduardo Aute invites us to deep reflection, posing questions about identity that resonate with a melody that extends for just over five minutes. This piece is part of Slowly, an album that the singer-songwriter released in 1992, and which in Spanish translates to Lentamente. The creative process for this work took place at Trak and La Nave studios, located in Madrid, during the months of July and August of that same year.
Slowly, the seventeenth studio album by Aute, was edited by BMG Ariola and featured production by Suso Saiz. The original album contained nine songs, all written and composed by Luis Eduardo Aute himself. In the compact disc format edition, two additional tracks were added: La locura que todo lo cura and Jaques, a piece inspired by the figure of the Belgian singer-songwriter Jacques Brel. The release took place in Spain in 1992, both on vinyl and CD.
