The story behind
Radiohead recorded "Killer Cars" as a B-side to the song "High and Dry", which was released in 1995. The idea came from a drum loop they used in the recording of "High and Dry", and then they developed it in a quick session at RAK Studios. The song was made in a couple of hours, with Thom Yorke singing while slightly drunk, sitting in a corner. The original title was "Planet Xerox", but they couldn't use it due to the trademark. The song was included in the album The Bends, which was released in 1995. The recording was done in several studios, including RAK and Courtyard. The band wrote it while working on the album, and used it as a basis for "Planet Telex". The song has an experimental sound, with piano and delay effects. The duration is 3:04. ↓ Skip to chordsVerse 1
