The story behind

The song *Hasta nunca* by No Te Va Gustar, with a duration of 3:36, is from the album _El Calor del Pleno Invierno_, released in 2012. This record, the seventh by the Uruguayan band, featured production by Federico Lima and Sebastián Peralta. It included guest vocals from musicians such as Fernando Ruiz Díaz, Gabriel Peluffo, Jorge Serrano, and Germán Daffunchio, contributing different textures to the compositions. The album, which was preceded by the single "A las Nueve", marked a milestone for the band by reaching the top position on the charts in Uruguay and Argentina. Furthermore, _El Calor del Pleno Invierno_ received a nomination at the Latin Grammy Awards and three at the Graffiti Awards in 2013. It is important to note that this was No Te Va Gustar's first album without the participation of keyboardist Marcel Curuchet, who sadly passed away.

No Te Va Gustar, formed in Montevideo in 1994, has been building its sound over the years, influenced by Uruguayan popular music, Argentine rock, and references like Oasis and The Beatles. Initially a trio, the band expanded in 1997 by incorporating rhythms such as reggae, candombe, ska, and murga, which enriched their musical proposal. The band's name, according to them, arose spontaneously and ended up being adopted for its uniqueness. The current lineup includes Emiliano Brancciari on vocals and guitar, Guzmán Silveira on bass and backing vocals, Diego Bartaburu on drums, Gonzalo Castex on percussion, Martín Gil on trumpet and backing vocals, Denis Ramos on trombone, Mauricio Ortiz on tenor saxophone, Pablo Coniberti on guitar, and Francisco Nasser on keyboards.
