Imagine Dragons

Imagine Dragons started in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a group of friends who would gather to play music. Dan Reynolds, the vocalist, was the one who stood out the most, but he also played drums. With him were Wayne Sermon, the guitarist, and Ben McKee, the bassist. Together they formed a band that was going to do interesting things.The first step was an EP called «Imagine Dragons», recorded in a studio room in Las Vegas. Later they released another one, «Hell And Silence», and then «It's Time». These EPs were recorded in the same room, and in 2011 they decided to sign with a record label. That year they also had their first big show, when the vocalist of another group got sick and they were called to perform at a festival with over 26 thousand people.Their first album, «Night Visions», was released in 2012 and was the one that launched them into the world. The song «It's Time» was the one that made them known. «Radioactive» became a hit, spent many weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and was called by some media as the best rock hit of the year. With that album they managed to reach second place in the charts of the United States and United Kingdom.They then released «Smoke + Mirrors», which reached number one in several countries. They won awards for their work, including a Grammy and several Billboard Music Awards. In 2014, they received fourteen nominations, including recognition for their career. They sold millions of copies of their albums and singles, and their name became bigger with every song.
