The story behind
Every Night, according to DoReSol
When you dive into *Every Night*, you encounter a piece that, while it may sound direct, has layers that make it interesting to unravel. The 3-minute and 37-second duration gives you just enough time for the melody to envelop you without overwhelming you. It's one of those songs that feels like a short but complete journey, where each note seems to be in its place to take you through a particular sonic experience.
The story behind *Night Visions*, the album that *Every Night* is part of, is one of a long and meticulous process. It was gestated over three years, a considerable time that allowed ideas to be refined. In fact, six of the tracks that ended up on the record had already seen the light of day on different previous EPs, showing evolution and constant work. The production of this material was a joint effort, where the band itself Imagine Dragons shared the studio with figures like English producer Alex da Kid and Brandon Darner, who had previous experience with The Envy Corps and even the metal band Slipknot. The result was a sound that fused elements of folk, hip hop, and pop, a mix that captured attention and was released to the market through Kidinakorner and Interscope Records in September 2012. This album, with its focus on composition and sonic experimentation, became a significant starting point for the band.
