El milagro argentino

When Los Auténticos Decadentes set out to record their first album, El milagro argentino, in 1989, they did so with an energy that is felt in every note. This initial work, released by Radio Trípoli, is a reflection of the band in its early days, with a large lineup that included Gustavo Daniel “Cucho” Parisi and Eduardo Alberto “Animal” Trípodi on vocals, along with a horn section featuring Guillermo Ricardo “Capanga” Eijo on trumpet and Gabriel “Chiflo” Sánchez on tenor sax. The recording took place in different stages and studios, such as Estudios Sonovisión and Estudios Panda, with engineers like Álvaro Villagra and Mario Breuer, and artistic production by Camilo Iezzi and Mario Breuer himself, in addition to executive production shared with Domingo Guarma.

About the album

El milagro argentino, according to DoReSol

Within El milagro argentino, there are songs that resonate with particular strength. For example, Entregá el marrón and Vení Raquel were recorded at Estudios Sonovisión in August 1989, while other pieces like Skabio, Cuerpos a medida, Pastas y vino, and El látigo de Capanga were conceived at Estudios Panda between December 1988 and January 1989. The album also includes the catchy Loco (tu forma de ser), which would become one of the band's most recognized songs. The diversity of recordings and the large number of musicians who participated in this debut give an idea of the particular way of working and the sonic breadth that already characterized Los Auténticos Decadentes from the beginning.
