The story behind

The Same Thrill, according to DoReSol

In *The Same Thrill*, the Scorpions invite us on a sonic journey that, although brief at 3 minutes and 32 seconds, condenses palpable energy. It is a piece that, like others from the album *Love at First Sting*, delves into the waters of hard rock and heavy metal, with touches that some describe as glam metal. The recording of this work took place at Dierks Studios in Stommeln, Germany. The first ideas for the album emerged at Polar Studios in Stockholm during the summer of 1983, with the participation of musicians such as Jimmy Bain and Bobby Rondinelli, although they were not ultimately included in the final version.

The album *Love at First Sting* was released in February 1984 by Mercury Records in the United States and in March 1984 by Harvest Records in the United Kingdom. This record became one of the band's most important in US territory, reaching number 6 on the Billboard 200 charts in 1984. The production of the album was handled by Dieter Dierks, who also took care of the mixing, while Gerd Rautenbach was the recording engineer. The Scorpions, originally from Hannover and founded in 1965, have built an extensive career with multiple albums, singles, and live performances, consolidating themselves as a prominent rock band from Germany.
