The story behind

Os Paralamas do Sucesso wrote Romance ideal in 1984, as part of the album O passo do Lui. The song was recorded in a time when the band already had some experience, but was not yet as well-known as later. The lyrics talk about a relationship that does not end, about a promise that remains despite everything. The melody is gentle, with a rhythm that moves between the close and the distant.
