Casa Pré-Fabricada

The story behind

Los Hermanos recorded Casa pré-fabricada in 2001, two years after their first album. The song is part of the album Bloco Do Eu Sozinho, which came out after the group achieved success with "Anna Júlia". Their label, Abril Music, pressured them to release another hit. To avoid tension, they decided to make the album in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, away from the city. During the recording, the bassist, Patrick Laplan, left the group to focus on his own project, according to reports, because he was not satisfied with the sound the band was taking on. Their producer, Alexandre Kassin, stayed to finish the recording. Upon completion, the label rejected the album, but the song Casa pré-fabricada remains part of their legacy. With over a million plays on Last.fm, the song remains a reference of their style.
