The story behind

The song *Bollicine* is one of the pieces that make up the sixth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Vasco Rossi. This record work, released on April 14, 1983, has been recognized by both the public and critics, even being highlighted by *Rolling Stone Italia* magazine in 2012 as the best Italian album. Within this album is *Vita spericolata*, a track that was presented at the Sanremo Festival of that same year and quickly became an anthem. The gestation of *Vita spericolata* has a particular story: the music and a first version of the lyrics in English were created by Tullio Ferro during the summer of 1982, thinking of a concert in Cagliari that was ultimately canceled due to bad weather. It was then that Vasco, retired in his motorhome, dedicated himself to shaping it.

Vasco Rossi, born in Zocca, an area between Modena and Bologna in the Apennines, is known for his rebellious personality and his desire to express his creativity. From a young age, he showed interest in experimental theater, but he also enrolled in the Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Bologna. However, he soon realized that his true passion was music, a path he had already explored by winning a competition in 1965. This difference between his studies and his musical inclination led him to make an important decision: to abandon his academic career to follow his instinct. This decision propelled him towards another key experience in his artistic career: "free radio." In 1975, he founded one of these stations with friends, which marked a before and after in his career. The album *Bollicine* was also released in a special "Picture" edition in 1983, and the title track of the album lasts 5 minutes and 41 seconds.
