KAROL G

From Medellín, Colombia, Karol G's music has resonated with particular force, connecting genres like reggaeton and urban pop with Latin American rhythms. Her musical journey began to take shape in 2012 with the song "301", a collaboration that positioned her on radio and television in Colombia. The following year, in 2013, her song "Amor de dos" with Nicky Jam marked an important step, and in 2014 she moved to New York to deepen her knowledge of the industry, signing with Universal Music Latino.

The turning point came in 2017 with "Ahora me llama", a track with Bad Bunny that topped her debut album, Unstoppable. This album reached second place on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. A subsequent remix with Quavo opened the doors to the top 10 of Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart. By the end of 2018, "Secreto" became a hit in Latin America, a period during which she also confirmed her relationship with Anuel AA. That same year, she received the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist, adding to her nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and the Premios Lo Nuestro.
