Biography

Her first performances date back to her participation in the church to which she used to attend as a child, where she had the opportunity to participate in different artistic activities that took place with the children's group, her parents decided to enroll her in the School of Fine Arts of Santiago at the age of eight. There, she first took singing classes, perfecting her vocal talents and interpretative strength, and where her dream of becoming an artist was born.

At eighteen, she began writing and recording her own songs, performing in various musical events that took place in her hometown Santiago and, together with her friends, decided to form the musical group D'Style, eventually recording some musical songs, the group did not achieve the expected results and over time disbanded. She was a back-up singer for the group Ingco Crew, participating in some songs like «Chocolate», but this group also eventually disbanded. As a result, she decided to take a brief pause from her short musical career.

Later, she resumed her career with the intention of launching herself as a solo artist in the urban genre; during this period she reunited with the music producer Link- On, who by that time belonged to the team of music producers of the Orfanato Music Group. Shortly after, one of her songs began to be heard in the studio, until it reached Don Omar, who was impressed by her talent and decided to sign her to his label.

She debuted with Orfanato Music Group recording «Hold Ya» (Remix) with Gyptian and Don Omar in 2010; during this time she had participation in several discographic projects, such as the compilation of tracks in the album Meet the Orphans. In 2011, she collaborated with Don Omar on the song «Dutty Love», which was released in February of that same year, a song that earned her three Billboard Latin awards. Her voice was included in other songs and remixes such as: «Tu recuerdo» in 2011, «Te dijeron» (Remix) in 2012, among others. In 2012, she released the EP All About Me, which was her first English compilation music material. She collaborated in 2013 on a romantic-themed song with Farruko in «Crazy In Love» and released her first solo single «Makossa», which reached number one on the Reggaeton Italia Chart and was positioned as one of the most listened songs in Funx Holanda for two consecutive weeks.[citation required] In 2014, she presented an unplugged titled «Que pasa», which was produced by Gio Williams and recorded in the studios of El Orfanato, later concluding her contract with Don Omar.

She began working for the first time with Pina Records in 2015 for the album La melodía de la calle: 3rd Season of Tony Dize with the song «Te falto el valor» and for the album The Last Don 2 of Don Omar with the song «Perdido en tus ojos», a song that won a platinum disc in Spain through PROMUSICAE.

She participated in the songs «Amor de locos» and «Magia» of the albums The King Of Romance of the singer Ken-Y and Latidos of the rapper Lápiz Conciente in 2016. That same year, the singer Natti Natasha became the first female artist to sign with the label Pina Records, releasing her first single under this title «Otra cosa» in collaboration with Daddy Yankee, which was released on December 9, 2016, her music video directed by Luieville & Company was released the following year. Commercially, the song reached its peak at number one in the Dominican Republic and number 21 on the Latin songs chart in the United States.
