Natti Natasha

Natti Natasha is not just a voice in reggaeton or bachata, but a burst of energy that weaves through the rhythms. Her sound doesn't stay within one genre: she mixes reggaeton with touches of Latin pop and bachata, but always with a personal touch that makes her instantly recognizable. She's not the typical artist who follows formulas; her music has a fresh feel, as if each song were written at two in the morning after a rehearsal night. Of course, behind that vitality are years of training: she started singing in her church choir as a child, then attended the School of Fine Arts in Santiago de los Caballeros, where she polished her technique until it became more than a hobby.

The leap to professionalism wasn't easy. Before becoming a solo artist, she was part of groups like D’Style and was a backup singer for Ingco Crew, but nothing clicked until producer Link-On heard her in the studio and took her to Don Omar. That moment was key: in 2010, her voice was already heard on "Hold Ya" (Remix) alongside Gyptian and Don Omar, and the following year, "Dutty Love"—her collaboration with Don Omar—opened the doors to awards like the Billboard Latin. It wasn't just any success: it was three awards that confirmed that her style, though new, connected with the public.

Biography

But where she truly consolidated was when she decided to take the reins of her career. In 2016, she signed with Pina Records and released "Otra cosa" with Daddy Yankee, a track that not only reached number one in the Dominican Republic but also broke into the top 20 of the Latin charts in the United States. That same year, her voice was heard on Ken-Y's "Amor de locos" and Lápiz Conciente's "Magia," demonstrating that she could move between genres without losing her essence. The curious thing is that, before all this, she had already recorded an unplugged in 2014 ("Que pasa") and had even tried her luck with an EP in English, All About Me, in 2012. But it was when she left other labels behind that she found her own path.
