About the album

Torn Between Two Lovers, according to DoReSol

The album sold quite well, and although it was not a sales phenomenon, it did find a place on the radio. The critics received it with a C in the Record Guide by Robert Christgau, who compared it with Olivia Newton-John and called it a "substitute," something that didn't please him much. Although it wasn't a big success, it helped Mary MacGregor make a name for herself in the world of 1970s pop.
