Supernatural

When Carlos Santana found himself without a record label in the mid-90s, he began discussions with Clive Davis, who had already signed the band to Columbia Records in 1969. The goal was to create material focused on pop and more radio-friendly. Thus was born Supernatural, released in June 1999 through Arista Records. This album marked a turning point, generating renewed interest in Santana's music and reaching number one in eleven countries, including the United States, where it remained for 12 non-consecutive weeks.
