About the album

Con la London Metropolitan Orchestra, according to DoReSol

The central idea behind Con la London Metropolitan Orchestra — Ricardo Montaner was to take songs that already resonated with the public and dress them in the majesty of a symphony orchestra. Songs like Tan enamorados or Déjame llorar, which were already part of Montaner's musical history, acquired a distinct texture. In fact, in some of these reinterpretations, Ricardo Montaner himself opted for subtle adjustments to the lyrics, perhaps seeking to enhance the emotiveness of the orchestral melodies. The participation of the Metropolitan Orchestra was key to achieving this immersive and detailed atmosphere.

This album, which also featured the production of Bebu Silvetti, is distinguished by its focus on reinterpreting hits. Tracks like Será or Castillo azul, along with the aforementioned Déjame llorar, benefited greatly from the symphonic arrangements, offering the listener a renewed auditory experience. The inclusion of El poder de tu amor as a previously unreleased track added further value, consolidating the album as a complete offering for the singer-songwriter's followers.
