Without Love

The song Without Love, although not one of Bon Jovi's best-known singles from the Slippery When Wet era, shares the DNA of that period. This album, Slippery When Wet, became a benchmark for glam metal, housing hits like You Give Love a Bad Name, Livin' on a Prayer, and Wanted Dead or Alive. To promote the album, Bon Jovi embarked on an extensive tour, the Slippery When Wet Tour, which ran from July 1986 to October 1987. The band, formed in New Jersey in 1983 with Jon Bon Jovi at the helm, consolidated their status with this record, although they themselves define themselves more as a rock and roll band, seeking to distance themselves from the glam metal labels often associated with them due to their image and sound in the eighties.
